High Tea at Werribee Park Mansion

Where better to enjoy the fine tradition of an elegant High Tea than at Werribee Park Mansion, one of the largest and most opulent heritage-listed properties in Victoria. The Italianate-style mansion is steeped in history and surrounded by ten hectares of formal gardens to explore.

Within the grounds of the Werribee Park Mansion is Lancemore Mansion Hotel. Its signature restaurant, Joseph’s Dining, is named in honour of the Catholic Seminary that once stood in its place. Overlooking the beautifully manicured English gardens, Joseph’s hosts High Tea every Saturday and Sunday. Indulge with a lavish spread of sweet and savoury delights including freshly baked scones, finely cut sandwiches and delectable cakes and pastries.

Fancy some High Tea with a side of opera? You’ll be in for a real treat at The Refectory’s Bridgerton-inspired High Tea events this winter. Situated in the west wing of Werribee Park Mansion, The Refectory invites you to ‘A Journey Through Time’, an afternoon High Tea experience with a historical journey through song from soprano Donna King. In addition to your set High Tea menu with freshly brewed coffee and a selection of tea, you will also enjoy a welcome cocktail on arrival, Queen Charlotte cake per table, and homemade lemonade.

Before settling into your High Tea of choice, why not tour the Werribee Park Mansion and soak up its rich history or go behind the scenes at Werribee Open Range Zoo for an Early Morning Savannah Experience?
