K Road Reconstruction (Duncans Road to K Road Cliffs) 

July 2025 – late 2026

Wyndham City Council is completing a major upgrade of K Road between Duncans Road and the iconic K Road Cliffs, including Werribee Park.

Major works are expected to commence following the July school holidays in 2025 and be completed in late 2026.

These works will greatly improve access to major attractions and events in the Werribee Park Precinct. 

What do you need to know?

• Work on the K Road Reconstruction (Duncans Road to K Road Cliffs) will temporarily pause from 19 December 2025 to 11 January 2026, with construction recommencing on 12 January 2026
• During this period, there will be full two-way access along K Road at all times, ensuring smooth travel to and from the Werribee South tourism precinct
• Access to Werribee Open Range Zoo, Werribee Park Mansion and precinct including Shadowfax Winery, the National Equestrian Centre, The Refectory, Lancemore Mansion Hotel, Wyndham Cache and the Werribee Park Golf Club will be maintained from the existing gates throughout construction – please follow signage to get to where you need to go.

These works are a significant investment in the future of the region and will deliver enhanced safety and accessibility for all road users.
