Go on safari, catch a keeper talk and see the new additions to the giraffe herd (juvenile giraffe David, Wayo and Jess at Werribee Open Range Zoo. Go on a Sunset Safari
During the summer school holidays for a limited time only, you can experience a Sunset Safari at Werribee Open Range Zoo, including safari tour, dinner and immersive African performances. Saturday nights from 13 January - 9 March. Tickets are limited so you’ll need to get in quick!
Tee off at The Elements Coastal Activity Park
Ditch screen time for sea time, at The Elements Coastal Activity Park! Grab a coffee or lunch at the newly-renovated 3030 Boulevard enjoy those bayside views and tackle the outdoor mini golf course. There’s no need to book ahead – drop in from 7.30am, with tickets from just $10 - $15 or $40 for a family of four.
Take the family to So Frenchy So Chic
Experience joie de vivre as the French do, with plenty of fine food and wine, fabulous music and great company at So Frenchy So Chic in Werribee Park. Kids 12 years and under are free , with special activities just for them! Bookings essential.
Go to the Beach
Kick back and relax at Werribee South Beach. Along the foreshore you’ll find public toilets and BBQs, two playgrounds and great coastal walk to Wyndham Harbour. Werribee South Beach will be patrolled by Life Saving Victoria from 26 December 2023 - 28 January 2024, 11:30am - 6.30pm.
Enjoy a family day out at the races
Enjoy a day of country racing with the family at Werribee Racecourse at their Kids Day Out on Saturday 6 January. General admission is just $10 for adults with children 17 and under free with an accompanying adult.
Head indoors for laser tag and arcade fun
Weather not looking so great? Holey Moley and Strike Bowling have joined forces with a huge indoor venue in Point Cook, featuring 24 lanes of ten pin bowling, laser tag, arcade with VR set up and 18-themed holes of mini golf fun. Bookings essential.

Already ticked off Werribee Park Mansion? The Victoria State Rose Garden is a stunning spot for a picnic at this time of year, with plenty of rolling lawns for the kids to run around. Entry is free – with gold coin donation encouraged to support the work of the volunteers who maintain the garden.
