Go to the National Clydesdale & Heavy Horse Festival 
Love horses? Enjoy a day out with the family at the National Clydesdale & Heavy Horse Festival from 18 – 19 January in Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre. Stop by for a pat and a photo, watch them in the show ring and enjoy food trucks and face painting. General admission is $10 kids under 16 free.

See an A-League match at Ironbark Fields
Cheer on Western United FC  at their home ground at Ironbark Fields in Tarneit, with matches on 7, 8 and 29 December and 3, 17 and 21 January. Tickets via Ticketek ($5 – $15) including pre-match entertainment and activities.

Go on a Sunset Safari at Werribee Open Range Zoo
Enjoy the magic of the African savannah as the sun goes down with an extended Safari Tour, cocktails, performances and a traditional African Braai barbeque. Sunset Safari tickets won’t last long. Saturdays, 4 January – 8 March 2025 (bookings essential).

See in the new year at Let Them Eat Cake 
Dance into the new year at Let Them Eat Cake (LTECNYD) in Werribee Park on 1 January 2024, with a line up including Flansie, Interplanetary Criminal, Jyoty, C00kie, DJ JNETT and more and more. Final release tickets now available until sold out.

Spend a morning at the Victoria State Rose Garden
Enjoy the incredible sight (and scent!) of the Victoria State Rose Garden in full bloom during the spring and summer months! Take time to explore the garden and for something truly special, pre-book High Tea at Joseph’s Dining or  The Refectory Parlour.

Not many mini golf courses come with a view like this! Take in the city skyline across Port Phillip Bay and enjoy the 18-hole mini golf course at the nature-based, Elements Coastal Activity Park, then enjoy the bayside views over lunch at 3030 Waterfront.

Cool off at Werribee South Beach
Yes, Werribee has a beach! Along Werribee South Foreshore you’ll also find two playgrounds, a lovely coastal walk and boat ramp. Lifesaving Victoria lifeguards will be on duty at Werribee South Beach daily from 11am to 7pm between Saturday 21 December 2024 and Sunday 26 January 2025, and on weekends from 1 to 23 February 2025.

Go to the zoo!
As if you needed further incentive, during the school holidays kids under 16 receive free entry to Werribee Open Range Zoo. The Safari Bus (included in entry) is a must, but if you’re looking to upgrade, book a Deluxe Safari Adventure or Mystery Ranger Experience.
