Bayview Park

With its signature pirate ship on top of the hill and 360 degree views over the bay and surrounding areas – Bayview Park is an absolute must for visitors and locals alike.

The infamous blue slide is the longest and steepest in the area coaxing the bravest of the brave to enter. There is a smaller ‘warm up’ slide next to it so you can build up to the main event.

The pirate ship itself has had a recent revamp, the gorgeous wooden hull and structures conjure up creative play with the children. It is also host to a slide, mini rock climbing wall, rope ladders and crows nest.

Back on the ground level, there is more fun to be had with a BBQ area, picnic tables, basketball court, a sandpit and digger (with some shade), a nest swing and plenty of grass to run around in and enjoy a picnic. Be sure to put this on your playground list.
